Since 1921 the monument and statue, located outside of police headquarters, has stood as the iconic symbol of our
department and a constant reminder of the 119 officers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice to maintain the peace in
our city.
For the first time, you have a chance to own a (11 inch tall) replica of the original. The miniature statue was painstakingly
replicated for the Kansas City Police Historical Society by artists and sculptors’ working for the R. S. Owens Company the
same company that manufactures the most prestigious and televised awards in the movie industry. Each statue will be
individually numbered (i.e., 23 of 500) in the order the money is received.
The statues are individually priced at $120 each.
All orders must be sent either through interdepartmental mail to Capt. Cheri Kelly, Patrol Bureau Office or through
U.S. Mail to KCPHS, P.O. Box 15351, Kansas City, Missouri 64106.
The statutes will be available for pick up at Police Headquarters, 1125 Locust, KCMO, 64106 within 75 days of order
placement, shipping charges of requested mail orders will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
All paid orders must be received by September 12, 2008.
